Battle Report: Boundless vs Chaos

Hey here some battle report on our  Boundless vs Chaos Space Marine our writer Patrick Seaton. Who also was there monitor for our pro-type Black Storm.
here the report.
Boundless
Chaos Space Marine

by Patrick Seaton
First Turn Tornados:
Came down from the sky in the middle.  Will note if they do something odd.

Chaos Turn 1: Wind went across the battlefield weakly.
The chaos army quickly found the Skyfire Nexus, which would be very helpful against the enemy’s Bishops.  Otherwise the chaos rhinos and the Defiler surged forward, full of anxious berserkers, and the Obliterator Cults prepared their weapons.

Boundless Turn 1: Wind went across the battlefield at a good gust
The boundless quickly seized one of the pieces of technology.  However, one troop attempted to assimilate it, and found it impossible to assimilate.  It made a disquieting noise as well.  Bes be careful around it.

Yandala the Imperious fired his lascannon at an approaching rhino.  The shot went a bit wide, but still did some damage.

The rest of the troops moved forward.

Chaos Turn 2: The wind shifted a bit to be blowing at the boundless
A squad of berserkers came across a piece of technology.  Advanced as it may seem, it holds no interest to the chaos, nor does it provide them with any benefits.

The chaos lord decided to give up the skyfire nexus for now.  Killing the boundless is more important.

The Defiler lowered its massive cannon at the Proselytes.  The wind carried the shot a bit farther than the marksman had predicted, and the shot ended up hitting closer to the enemy’s Deacons.  The Deacons emerged scot free, but 3 Proselytes found themselves obliterated by the gun.

The Obliterators formed lascannons and took aim at the Boundless leader.  A few of the shots missed the mark, but one exploded right in his face.  Jandamara emerged from the smoke missing a few nanites, but still ok.

Boundless Turn 2:  The wind shifted even further against the Boundless, and then increased to hurricane force gales.

The Proselytes decided to abandon the ancient tech, for now.

The Boundless Zealots saw the advancing enemy tank, and in a panic fired their Continuities at it.  Most shots missed, a few hit well armored spots, and one lucky shot managed to deal a a hit to the treads, and damage them a bit.  Not enough to stop the advance however.

Yandala took careful aim at the Rhino that seemed to be commanding the others.  He loaded his carnivore with the anti tank Crak ammo, and fired a shot.  The shot exploded on the front of the Rhino, but the Rhino surged through the flames, undamaged.

The marskman of a Bishop transport shot Wind Scorcher at the Berserker squad.  Both shots found their target, and two berserkers were immediately trampled by their comrades.

A second bishop shot Wind Scorchers at the Berserkers, but the shots miss.

Chaos Turn 3: Tornado moves into a Bishop, but the vehicle’s nanites held on.  Wind dies down

Obliterators take aim at the Bishop with Lascannons.  One shot goes wide, but 3 hit the front of the Bishop.  One shot craks the windshield, one shot takes out a Wind Scorcher, but the third shot disables the engines.  The Helicopters and Totem Carriers successfully bail out, but the Bishop is wrecked.

The Berserkers take aim with their pistols, but realize that they aren’t within range.

Defiler moves forward a bit, and then charges at the fallen helicopters, but a leg catches on a small rock, and it doesn’t quite reach them.  The helicopters fire in a panic at the defiler, but none of the shots do any damage to the defiler

Boundless Turn 3: A tornado moves onto the Helicopters, which are immediately sucked up, pummeled and destroyed.  The wind blows at the Chaos army with moderate strength.

The proselytes and Deacons charge into the Defiler.  On the other side of the battlefield, the Zealots and Proselytes move toward the squadron of Rhinos, with Yandala at their backs.  A Bishop moves in to back up that force.

A squad of Proselytes trains their flamers at the Defiler, but even the heat of the flames can do nothing to the Defiler.

Then the Boundless suddenly all explode for no reason.  Chaos Wins.

what we learn from the battle that was the Boundless army did not had a power punch to even to touch a chaos vehicles we made adjust to them to able to due damage to vehicles.

Black Storm: Tornado Strikes Back

Yes the tornado our mod campaign has strikes back on the testers games with painful effects. The tornado has not pass game any kill or damage to player units. So we decide to upgrade them which allow them to toss a vehicle and take hall points. and Take 16 units of Tyranids. This been hard get them to objects or units of each turn. Let us explained how they work In begin of the game mission there one tornado automaticly in middle of battle field next a person roll 1 D6 dice (6 sided dice) if roll a 3 or high the number of tornado will increase if not then just the 1 tornado then. For 3+ roll system goes  3 will gain 1 extra tornado, 4 will spawn 2 extra tornado's , 5 will spawn 3 extra tornado's, or 6 will spawn in 4 extra tornado's. As done with that a person roll another 1 d6 for mystery objects drops, Slay the Warlords,  and Night Fighting Rules (since it is a bad storm), which in the official Warhammer 40K 6th edition rule book. Now I forgot How big these Twister are um....
One CD Size that equal to one Large Blast Template. CD works the best since some units need the template for fire at enemy units.
So when all the amount of twister on center. After both are ready to fight the begin of each player turn must roll 2D6 and one Scatter dices and move disk or template what direction the scatter dice point to. Then after moving twister then they roll 1D6 and scatter to detriment Wind direction. The D6 is roll for how powerful is the wind so if player unit is move against the wind take there normal move - the one 1D6 was a 3 then 1 inch off, if rolled a 4 then 2 inch off, if rolled a 5 then 3 inch off, if rolled a 6 then 4 inch off. if hit direct hit system on scatter dice there no wind. However wind changes after all the tornado have move.

If any Twister come to contact or pass though them that each model in that unit  need do strength test
if roll over a object the person who place the object there need to roll a 1D6 and need to be greate then one or the object get suck up.
For any vehicle get hit or pass over need roll a 1D6 and make 4+ save if not that unit take 1 hall point then rolls 1D6 scatter dice the vehicle can take more hall damage if hit terrain.
